Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

Converse with AWS Lex chatbot

Call the Lex V2 RecognizeText API with the configured bot, alias, locale and session ID.

Respond to input without invoking Lex, for testing

Return a local test response without calling Amazon Lex.

Implementation considerations
  • The package contains two actions; it does not implement bot creation, audio streaming, or event triggers.
  • Review locale selection, credential scope, and how session IDs are generated before deploying to a customer tenant.
  • Keep conversation content out of debug logs and validate downstream actions separately from bot output.
  • The packaged action uses the Amazon Lex V2 RecognizeText API for text input and bot responses; it does not include streaming audio or a CXFabric trigger.
  • Use an opaque session ID and customer-approved AWS credentials. Confirm bot alias, locale, IAM access, and runtime behavior in the target account before use.
